Manuscript Guide
Overview
As a novelist and writing instructor, I review a select number of manuscript drafts for deep editorial consulting and mentorship each season. To ensure our goals align and to respect the creative process, all submissions must follow a structured pathway. I accept fiction across most major genres, focusing heavily on literary development.
Please submit a brief synopsis along with your first three chapters. This helps me assess your narrative voice and determine how we can best elevate your manuscript. Select clients will be contacted to discuss a customized editorial or mentoring schedule.
Please note that review times may vary depending on my current novel-writing and teaching commitments.
Format & Style
All submissions must be formatted in industry-standard double-spaced layout using 12pt Times New Roman or Courier. Include page numbers and a clean title page detailing your word count and contact details to facilitate clear review.
We highly recommend submitting files in PDF or Word formats, clearly labeled with your last name and project title.
Note
While I offer deep narrative analysis and comprehensive editorial guidance, please be advised that my consultancy services do not guarantee agency representation or traditional publication contracts.
